Keith Lowell Jensen, the atheist comedian

Whatever you do, it’s important to find a niche. The remora attaches itself to the underside of a shark to collect the bits of prey that the shark fails to get in its mouth, koalas subsist exclusively on eucalyptus and Keith Lowell Jensen is an atheist comedian.
It wasn’t always that way. Jensen has done stand-up and sketch comedy for years, but in an effort to talk about the things that really matter to him, he has taken on the role of the atheist comedian. His Atheist “sermons” on YouTube have gotten hundreds or thousands of viewers and he also regularly teams up with religious comedians for a stand-up throw down called the Co-exist Comedy Tour.
KALW’s Roman Mars talked with Keith Lowell Jensen to find out how a non-believer pokes fun at religion and still has friends and fans of all faiths when he’s done.
Keith Lowell Jensen performs as part of the show “Things We Made” at Off-Market Theaters in San Francisco on February 6th.
