For most people, turning 65 marks the start of Social Security and retirement. But for San Francisco resident Tom Tureen, 65 meant becoming a father—for the first time. He sat down with his wife Erin Lehane and their 19-month-old daughter Rose in the StoryCorps booth to talk about the night Rose was born and the complications that arose during the early stages of Erin's pregnancy.

This interview was recorded at the StoryCorps Booth at the Contemporary Jewish Museum in downtown San Francisco.
