"Hopenhagen" Ambassador David Kroodsma
When Climate Scientist David Kroodsma heads to Copenhagen today, he’ll be an old hand at the long-haul --and even the economy class seat on the plane will seem like a luxury.
Last year, Kroodsma pedaled a bike back and forth across the United States, and two years ago he rode 21,000 miles from California to Argentina, giving presentations on climate change to students, farmers, and anyone else he happened to run into.
This month the Huffington Post selected Kroodsma as their pick for the Hopenhagen ambassador—representing the people of the world who are hoping for a climate agreement. KALW’s Ben Trefny asked Kroodsma about the main memory he carries from his trip to South America.
