This year marks the 40th anniversary of a pretty significant news event. In 1969, Neil Armstrong walked on the moon. And some of the people who made it possible for us to hear him take his giant steps were Bay Area residents, like Diane Daniels. She sat down with her friend Pat Fodor in the StoryCorps booth to share memories of the moon walk. And she has an interesting perspective... you see, she was working for IBM back in 1969 and was part of the team of programmers behind the Apollo 11 mission.
