From Steven Short: "Yes I would. In fact I stopped into Sterling Bank yesterday to talk about this. They have over a dozen branches in the Bay Area (most in SF proper). They are community-oriented AND they pay better interest than the major banks. "

FROM Allison Budner "I moved my money last year too! I'm with New Resource Bank in SF. And they know me by name now. What a refreshing feeling--from the anonymity and red tape obstacle course of big banks. I'm happier with how small local banks like New Resource invest their money."

FROM Andrea Gill Olson: "Not only did we move our business to a smaller community orientated bank, but used a shovel to take care of the rest."
